I met Sean and Paul earlier in the day but missed their club tent set so this came as a very welcome surprise. They covered Richard Thompson's "1952 Vincent Black Lightning" and unlike the guy the previous evening (who also covered it) they looked like that's what they arrived on.

missed the first ten minutes then decided to take photos around the site while it was still fairly quite. I almost always have a camera with me and almost always forget to use it. Even with this sudden rush of activity I still tweeted more than I snapped.

this is going to take a little explaining. I have a friend who is a Pixie; she lives on a diet of chicken kebabs and finishes every sentence with Yaay! I'd been itching to take this since Thursday evening but resisted as she wouldn't be back from Cyprus until Sunday.

Arthur was my father in law, and before cancer took him he taught me how to blend his own recipe rum. It's made with love and shared with friends. I renamed it in his memory.(pic below)

Old Rosie had finally given up and the customer was not taken with the description of the alternative. I don't think it was anywhere near as bad as Strongbow and I don't know if she came back for anymore.

The Twelve Bar is one of my two favourite venues in London (The Luminaire being the other) and Imelda would go down so well in this tiny West End Venue.

When I say "stacked" I mean that there was an enormous amount of people crammed into stage two to see her. Dancing was not an option so I retreated and bumped into the photographer Mark Winpenny chatting to Stu and Debbie of Megson.

A woman behind me was somewhat shocked at the volume I got and Malcolm put his fingers in his ears after ever song just in case I gave a repeat performance. Later Alice (one of Fatea's photographers) asked if I had "screamed like a girl".

On reflection Lucinda Williams' performance was a long way short of being great and her insistence of the removal of photographers from the pit did not exactly endear herself to many who had spent the weekend working hard to cover the festival, but I still love her.

I was surprised at how well my battery lasted. I did have fears of it being flat by 9:00 pm but it generally lasted all day.
To get the full benefit of Twitter you need to be mobile, I believe its impact is lessened if you only use it sitting at a desk. Since I have been back from Cambridge I've tweeted twice and my once a month average will probably be maintained until my next festival. I will be working on getting video clips uploaded to compliment my words and pictures. There could be a whole new tradition for #CFF09.
